Baba Yaga doesn't have the best reputation. She is the Slavic demon living deep in the woods, an odd, ragged creature who eats people.

Is it true though? Isn't she just an old woman who wants to be left alone in her chicken leg hut? People travel a long distance to meet her so that she can give them advice. So what if she's not the most pleasant person to be around, she has her own problems to deal with! I also wouldn't be too welcoming if people kept banging on my door demanding advice or help.

She doesn't play into the ideal version of a woman society pushes us to be. She is a wise, independent, self-sufficient witch who is living her best life in the woods.
